My name is Mrs. Cornelsen. I am starting my 7th year of teaching. This is my second year teaching kindergarten. I have taught four years in First Grade and one year in Second Grade. I graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Goodwell, Oklahoma in May 2004 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I am currently taking graduate courses towards a Master's Degree in Reading at Fort Hays State University. I have lived in Hugoton all of my life. I was born in Liberal, KS and lived on my parents farm 18 miles East of Hugoton until I married. I married Lance Cornelsen my high school sweetheart in 1997. He currently coaches and works for USD 210 School District. I have four Children. Megan is a Freshman in high school, Paden is a seventh grader, Emma is a First grader, and Ali is in Preschool. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and watching my kids participate in all their different activities. I like playing and watching volleyball, reading, and running. I do enjoy teaching and watching the students develop throughtout the year. |
